Dear Grove Residents,
I hope this message finds you well. As members of our community, it’s crucial we address a significant issue impacting the welfare and functionality of our neighborhood. As of now, $137,000 of this year’s assessments remain uncollected, which represents approximately 18% of our annual budgeted income. Notably, an additional $39,000 of assessments are over 60 days past due, with several accounts individually exceeding $1,000.
We wish to remind everyone that the 2024’s assessment was due by January 31, 2024. Accounts with outstanding balances after this date incur interest at an annual rate of 18%, compounded monthly, as per our covenants (see footnote for reference).
The Importance of Timely Dues Payment
Timely collection of dues is not just a financial matter but a cornerstone of our community’s health and vibrancy. These funds are vital for maintaining our shared facilities, parks, green spaces, and ensuring we can meet our financial obligations. Delayed payments affect our collective ability to enjoy and improve our neighborhood.
